Welcome to the Iron Chef Dinner Party home page!
The Iron Chef Dinner Party was originated by David J. Cavuto, an avid Iron Chef fan, as well as an enthusiastic (if amateur) chef.
The idea was to be able to host an Iron Chef competition in our home. However, since I din't have the impressive facilities available in Kitchen Stadium, I decided to make it a Potluck Dinner Party instead.
David and his partner Kristin Vaught host parties at their home for their friends and relatives. We announce the theme ingredient exactly 24 hours in advance of the party, and distribute it by email and telephone. Participants then have until the start of the party to acquire the theme ingredient, come up with their recipes, and arrive with their dishes fully prepared.
